What does Pop-Up Birthday do?
Pop-Up Birthday provides birthday parties in a box for children in foster care. We include all the supplies needed to throw a party, plus personalized gifts for each child. Volunteers help us wrap every box, and caseworkers deliver our boxes to children.
Who do you serve?
We currently provide Pop-Up Birthday boxes to children in foster care in the 31-county area of Central Texas that comprises DFPS Region 7.
Who can request a Pop-Up Birthday box?
We ask that the child’s CPS caseworker, CASA volunteer, or staff member from one of our partner agencies submit the request on behalf of the child and caregiver. The requestor is also responsible for picking up and delivering the birthday box to the foster home or treatment center.
How do I submit a request?
Simply use our Request Form to submit an online request. Once we process your request, you will receive a confirmation email. Please note, we kindly ask for a 30-day notice. If you are unable to provide a 30-day notice, please contact our office to see if we can accommodate your request: request@popupbirthday.org

What is Pop-Up Birthday’s founding story?
Pop-Up Birthday was founded in 2014 by Laila Scott, a mom of three boys and active community volunteer with a passion for spreading birthday joy.
How is Pop-Up Birthday funded?

What is your tax-exemption ID?
Pop-Up Birthday is a 501(c)(3) approved organization. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Federal Tax ID #47-5078088.
